ATSR guided Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District in long-term planning to meet the District’s needs.
The master plan includes:
- Enrollment capacity analysis/forecast
- Comprehensive 25-year facilities timelines
- Major capital improvements per building
- Facility age/useful life breakouts per building
- Property acquisition options
The successful $65 million referendum includes major renovations to the middle school. The project includes reconfiguring space to support middle-level curriculum and ‘future-ready’ learning, major mechanical upgrades, and revitalization of all spaces.
Nine ‘Houses’ were designed from former ‘bells-cells’ classrooms. Collaboration areas are configured from former classrooms/halls and designed as flexible learning spaces. Clusters are organized with two ‘houses’ per 6-8 grades, with skylights introduced for abundant daylight in interior spaces.
